Couldn't decide what I wanted to do, so I did thumbnails for two sets of programs: The Rosetta Stone series and the Adobe series. What do you guys think?
I like the Rosetta stone idea because its a different approach than Adobe. I think instead of trying to put some design on the front, try minimizing your design so it brings attention to the Rosetta which is the main focus
I'm having a hard time seeing the pictures, but for the Rosetta stone I think I like the speech bubbles and the globe idea. It explains what the program is about in case you didn't already know you could just look at the box and get the hint. You might be able to expand on that more.
I think you should choose #1- Rosetta Stone, because I think it is very creative what you did with the stones as the flags. Even though it will be though with all the flags I would try to use a contrasting color on the negative space by the flags or just leave it white. However, if you will choose a contrasting color use a very light hue.
It's kinda hard to see what's going on in your sketches... for the Rosetta Stone the first idea is interesting... there's not a lot of visuals for this type of software because it's language based maybe the main picture changes for the other two languages... and the main element is the title so you need to nail it with a nice font... for the adobe i like the squares one
I like the dialogue bubble around the world on the Rosetta Stone software. especially if each bubble was a different language. I'm not too familiar with the software so I'm not sure if that would work. Idea #1 is also a good idea. I like your cultural integration with your ideas and not just the language. Stick with that concept.
i can hardly see your thumbnails in detail so i think you should go with the Rosetta Stone idea because so many others are doing Adobe. i think you also have more ideas for the Rosetta Stone idea, therefore, you have more options to play with.
I also chose Rosetta stone. It is different, and it will also provide you with different possibilities compared to the Adobe series. It’s a little hard to see, but I think the idea of using bubbles seems to work well with what you are trying to convey.
I agree, go with Rosetta Stone. So many people are doing Adobe and it's kind of boring. Rosetta stone will be nice because you can turn their current ugly packaging into something awesome.
