Rosetta Stone 1

I'm not really liking how the background looks so plain, I want to add some sort of texture (Maybe a globe or something since that's their current logo?). The 3D effect on the blue one looks kinda...weird to me too.

Anyways what do you guys think?

  1. 2nd from top has a nice concept with the post-it like effect. but you still have to work on layout a lot more. its way to busy and the logo has too much space in between the letters an is way too big. but stick with the effect you're using.

  2. I like the last one by default because it looks the most complex, you have a nice idea with the others but it looks too simple, it looks like an element of design is missing, maybe stick with the second to last one the more I think of it because I just though that your concept may work because the program is meant to be a simple teaching tool to the consumer, but overall I think that the second to last comp has potential to be something good.

  3. Your design is making me think school bus or a spelling B. There is just something about it that is off for me. the 3-D effect does look a little weird but at the same time it looks cool at the same time. The color palette on the last concept is better than the yellow. They look too cartoon like. They just need to be worked on a little bit. I like using the words from the language and maybe incorporating a globe could work.
    Good luck.

  4. The second to last one looks pretty nice so far. You could maybe add text that is really light with spanish words for texture on the background.

  5. Your last design is really fun and nice to look at. The Blue is calming and the 3D shapes are eye catching. I feel like I want to see people in there somewhere, are you leaving them out on purpose? I don't know about adding a texture, it might be distracting. Overall very nice though.

  6. These designs look like old language books. I think it's because of the yellow and the caption bubbles. I think that you should use a notebook paper texture for the background.

  7. I think that I like the second from the last. I like the set up of it and the yellow is definitely Rosetta Stone, but maybe if texture was added to the yellow background or something? Not sure, but a good start.

  8. I like the first one, but it might be a little too simple. Maybe you can add another color, it might help.

  9. I dont have a problem with the yellow it actually sets the tone for learning to me... I like the ideas of the talk bubbles... i think the name is too big but yet you need something else to complete the overall idea of language softwre... and more hierarchy
